EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION  FOR WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Advt. No: 09/2024 dated – 06.08.2024

1. TEACHING ASSOCIATE: Teaching Associateship is a chance to practice Teaching in the IHMs and regulated under the Teaching Associateship Scheme of NCHMCT, adopted by the Institute. The candidate must fulfill the following prescribed qualifications. Final selection will be based on a Practical and Teaching Skill test and weightage of the NHTET score / Ph.D. qualification. Number of post   : Four Scale of Pay  : Consolidated 25,000/- per month, Nature of Appointment    : Purely temporary for maximum of 11 months  

Educational and Other Qualifications:

Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University and full time Master’s degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate either in bachelors or master’s degree.

OR

Full time Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration / Hotel Management after 10+2 from a Recognized University securing not less than 60% marks in aggregate with at least 2 years industry experience.

AND

Must have qualified NHTET conduct by NCHMCT with prescribed percentage to qualify for Teaching Associate.

Those having Ph.D degree in Hospitality related subject from a recognized University / Institute after above prescribed qualification, need not  qualify NHTET.

 

Age limit : Not exceeding 30 years, (as on 01.07.2024), Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC, ST & Divyangjan    and as specified for other categories by Government of India from time to time.

 

2. CONTRACT FACULTY:

In the event of shortage of sufficient number of NHTET Qualified candidates (FP, F&B, Rooms Division) others will be considered for a   lesser compensation of Rs. 24,000/- per month.  Hence those who are qualified are encouraged to apply irrespective of NHTET eligibility for the post of contract faculties.
